What is Arborjet?

Arborjet is an advanced injection system used in the plant health care industry that is currently being offered by Arbor Plant Health Care.
The Arborjet system uses a patent-pending Arborplug design to deliver and release a broad range of pest control, disease control, and nutritional products directly into the vascular system of the tree. Founded in 1999, Arborjet has developed the leading tree injection equipment and formulations to protect trees while supporting the landscape industry. Arborjet’s injection process provides high efficacy treatments without exposing the environment and non-target species to chemicals.
How does it work?

Tree injections are a targeted application of medicine directly into a tree’s vascular system via the trunk. The tight seal in the tree enables pressure to be sustained throughout the injection process, making delivery fast and consistently more effective than traditional spray treatments.
It can deliver micro-nutrients to combat nutrient deficiencies, control insects – borers, aphids, spider mites and scale, and treat diseases. It is the only current pesticide treatment allowed in N.S. for Emerald Ash Borer and Hemlock Woolly Adelgid. Trunk Injection is currently the most popular method used for controlling invasive tree pathogens and insect pests, particularly in HRM, where ground and air-spray applications are difficult and banned.
Why use Arborjet?
Arborjet’s delivery systems are world-renowned and have the most current and effective formulations to protect trees. Tree injections can increase the efficiency of treatment and improve plant health. Arborjet injections make it the best method to defeat Hemlock Wooly Adelgid and Emerald Ash Borer, which has recently popped up throughout HRM and Nova Scotia. Arborjet tree injections are an excellent investment for those looking to protect their trees from pests, diseases, and other environmental factors. Investing in tree and plant health is an excellent way to increase the aesthetic and monetary value of your landscape and residential/commercial property.

Tree injections also offer a safer alternative application, as compounds are only exposed to plant pests without posing a risk to the nearby environment or wildlife as in the past, with the spray application method traditionally.
Arbor Plant Health Care is here to provide Nova Scotians with Arborjet and their effective, affordable, and easy-to-deliver protection against invasive pests like Hemlock Wooly Adelgid and Emerald Ash Borer. Arbor Plant Health Care has two licensed pesticide technicians on staff that can help you develop an application schedule that is easy and low maintenance while knowing they have the most up-to-date and advanced protection available for their trees, shrubs and plants.
